Custard apple
The Custard Apple tree is a sub-tropical deciduous tree that grows to a height of ten to twenty metres. The tree sets many light yellow trumpet shaped flowers that emit a pungent, sweet smell especially in the late afternoon when the male pollen sacks burst open. Of these flowers, only a small number will set fruit. Custard apples showcase a pale green colour and when it is perfectly ripe, brown patches develop on its skin. These fruits are quite rich in flavour and nutritive content..Custard apple is actually a fresh fruit having a fairly sweet flavor, which usually measures about 8-16 cm in dimension.
